The HiBoost CommLink 20K is a commercial-grade cell signal amplifier delivering up to 72 dB of system gain. It improves voice and data to reduce dropped calls and missed emails and texts, keeping your business, your employees, and your customers connected with a stronger cell signal.
The HiBoost CommLink 20K Open-Floor system, part of Powerful Signal’s exclusive Top Signal Series, is the configuration we reach for when a customer calls about a small to midsized warehouse. Conventional booster kits scatter multiple inside antennas across a floor plan, which is the right answer in an office full of walls. A warehouse has almost no walls to fight, so the limiting factor becomes how much open floor a single broadcast point can reach.
This kit answers that by hanging all four inside antennas together in one array, each panel turned a quarter turn from its neighbors. Panel antennas are directional, so four of them arranged this way push amplified signal outward in every horizontal direction at once from a high, unobstructed, central mounting point. In a clear-span building that geometry covers far more square footage than the same four antennas spread across the same ceiling.

This system is designed for open interior space. If your building is divided into offices, cold rooms, or racked aisles that block signal between zones, a kit with its antennas distributed across the floor plan will serve you better. Call us and we’ll tell you honestly which one fits your building.

A panel antenna is directional. It broadcasts forward, concentrating its energy in the direction it faces. Mounted on a wall, it throws signal across the room and wastes very little of it into the wall behind.
In a warehouse there often is no useful wall. The building may be hundreds of feet across, and a panel mounted at the perimeter runs out of reach long before it gets to the far side. Mounting it high in the middle of the space solves the reach problem.
Four panels, each rotated 90 degrees from the next, form an antenna array. Their combined patterns overlap into full 360‑degree horizontal coverage radiating outward from one high point. Each panel still gets the focus that makes a directional antenna efficient, and the array as a whole behaves like a single broadcast point at the center of the building.
Hanging the array also puts it above the racking, equipment, and inventory that would otherwise absorb the signal. Height is what buys you distance in an open building.
Mounting height matters. The array is designed to hang so the panels sit roughly 20 to 30 feet above the floor. Lower than that and the panels shoot over less ground before the pattern reaches the floor. Higher than that and the signal attenuates (weakens) too much before it reaches phones and cellular devices, so in a taller building you should extend the drop to bring the array back into that range.

With an Ethernet connection, you can monitor, administer, and receive email alerts from your HiBoost CommLink 20K system from any device with a web browser and internet access. You can also administer multiple HiBoost systems at one or multiple locations.
HiBoost’s Signal Supervisor app for smartphones helps you set up and monitor your cell signal booster. The booster links to your iPhone or Android smartphone via a Bluetooth or WiFi connection. With Signal Supervisor, you can:

In a warehouse, distribution center, or plant, you’ll get the best results and performance from a HiBoost CommLink 20K with a custom design and professional installation.
Working with your floor plans, Powerful Signal’s design engineers will create design specifications that will allow you to use the fewest number of components to get the maximum amount of cellular coverage inside your building. For a building bigger than one array can serve, they’ll tell you whether a second system or a larger platform is the better investment.
Powerful Signal’s professional installer will have knowledge of local building codes and the proper tools and experience to make sure your system is set up and configured correctly. Suspending an array at height in an active warehouse is work best done by someone who does it regularly.

The HiBoost CommLink 20K Open-Floor can be self-installed if you are familiar with cellular amplification equipment and have safe access to your ceiling. We’ll be happy to advise you on placement of the donor antenna and the array, or provide a custom, turnkey solution. Every component below is included:
The four-antenna array:
Because the splitter mounts at the array itself, the four antenna feeds are 2‑foot jumpers rather than long individual runs. That leaves you with a single 100‑foot pull from the amplifier.
The high-gain omni antenna on your roof receives cell signal from every tower around you and sends it down through a lightning surge protector and 50 feet of coax to the CommLink 20K amplifier mounted inside. The amplifier boosts that signal and pushes it back out over a single 100‑foot run to the antenna array suspended from your ceiling, where a 4-way splitter feeds all four panels through short jumpers. The panels rebroadcast the amplified signal across the floor below.
The system works in both directions at once. The same path carries the signal from every phone and cellular tablet in the building back up to the tower, which is what lets a handheld device deep inside a steel building hold a call it would otherwise drop.
One installation note worth repeating: never coil the excess coax. A coil of cable behaves like an inductor and degrades the signal you just paid to amplify. If you have extra cable after your run, snake it back and forth in long, flat runs instead.
The HiBoost CommLink 20K works with all major wireless carriers, including Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Boost Mobile, UScellular, GCI Alaska, and most others.
It operates on common cellular frequencies.
With strong outside cell signal (−95 dBm RSRP or greater) in open, unobstructed floor space, the HiBoost CommLink 20K Open-Floor can cover up to 50,000 ft² with 700 MHz signal. That figure assumes a clear-span building: high ceilings, no interior partitions, and nothing tall enough between the array and the walls to block the broadcast.
Those conditions are what make the number possible, and they are worth taking seriously. The same amplifier and the same four antennas in a partitioned building cover far less, because every wall between the antenna and the phone costs you signal. As your building fills with racking, mezzanines, or cold rooms, plan on coverage closer to what a conventional four-antenna CommLink 20K kit delivers.
As outside signal weakens, so does your coverage:
Coverage areas referenced on this page are at 700 MHz; higher-frequency bands attenuate faster through walls and reach less area.
The size of the coverage area depends on many factors, including:
Substandard or inadequate conditions in any of these factors will reduce your coverage area.
