Couplers / Taps

For dividing signal to and from cellular boosters unequally

Couplers and taps for cell phone signal booster systems from Powerful Signal

Couplers (also called taps) divide the signal from a single coax cable into two unequal runs, sending a smaller amount of signal to an antenna and a greater amount farther down the line to another antenna, a splitter, or more couplers.

If you need to divide signal equally, use a splitter instead.

Coaxial cable couplers are typically used in commercial signal booster installations, where the amplifier provides sufficient signal strength to handle the loss involved in tapping a cable. Couplers may also be used in some consumer and residential applications; please contact us to find out if a coupler will work with your specific setup.
