Product Description

Marine weBoost Drive Reach Cell Signal Booster with 38-Inch High-Gain Antenna 470154

Features of the Marine weBoost Drive Reach high‑gain antenna system

  • Combines weBoost’s most powerful 5G/4G mobile cell phone signal booster with a high-gain marine whip antenna for the best possible signal while underway and while moored.
  • With its superior uplink power, the Drive Reach can send signal to towers that are twice as distant compared to older vehicle boosters.
  • RFI’s 38.2″ (90.7 cm) fiberglass marine antenna includes 16.4′ (5.0 m) of RG58 coax cable and a 1″ × 14‑thread ferrule that attaches to standard marine mounts. This antenna also has a quick-release feature for easy, fast setup and takedown. (Learn more.) Cable extensions using low-loss 400 coax are also available at additional cost.
  • Top Signal’s high-performance directional EDGE panel antenna mounts flush to walls; it also stands upright on any flat surface and can be moved about the boat. (Learn more.) This antenna connects to the booster with 10 feet of thin, flexible 195 coax cable.
  • Provides up to 10 feet of improved signal coverage from the inside antenna.
  • Use in your boat and in your car, truck, or SUV with two sets of antennas—just disconnect and move the booster and power supply for improved signal in both.
  • Boosts 5G and 4G/LTE cell signal for multiple users on all carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, UScellular, and more. (Learn more about 5G compatibility.)
  • The weBoost Drive Reach is designed and assembled in St. George, Utah.

The Drive Reach is the newest-generation cell phone signal booster for vehicles from Wilson Electronics. With an industry-leading 28.3 to 29.5 dBm of uplink power, the Drive Reach can send data to cell towers twice as distant as older boosters.

The 38″ RFI Q-Fit® marine antenna provides 4.5 to 6.5 dBi of signal gain, sending stronger signal to the Drive Reach booster for better inside cellular coverage and a stronger connection to the cell tower.

The inside Top Signal EDGE panel antenna can be placed where you need signal the most—the dining area, the helm, etc.—and moved as needed. You can also mount the EDGE panel antenna on a wall or ceiling with the mounting bracket (included) or with Command™ Strips or similar adhesives (purchased separately). Ten feet of thin, flexible 195 coax cable connects the panel antenna to the booster.

Stay connected underway on lakes and rivers and in coastal waters. Experience faster 5G/4G data and fewer dropped calls, undelivered texts, and missed email messages.

Command™ brand is a trademark of 3M.

Quick-release antenna for low-clearance passages

Many inland waterways have low minimum-clearance passages. RFI’s Q‑Fit® threaded quick-release connector provides fast, easy takedown and setup for low-clearance areas. The antenna attaches and detaches from its base in seconds.

LTE Marine Antenna RFI Quick-Release 38-Inch Whip 6.5 dBi 698–2700 MHz with Ferrule & Cable TS210702 quick-release connector RFI’s whip antenna includes a threaded quick-release ferrule that allows you to remove and reattach the antenna in seconds. (Click to enlarge.)

Who is the Marine weBoost Drive Reach high‑gain antenna system for?

When having a usable cell phone signal in your boat isn’t a luxury, it’s a critical necessity.

  • Boaters who need improved cell signal while underway.
  • Boats that need better signal in a specific area, such as around the helm or at a dining table.
  • Boats that need amplified signal for multiple cellular carriers simultaneously.
  • Vessels that are used in remote waterways, where cell service is poor.
  • Government agencies (fish and wildlife service, harbor patrol, police or sheriff’s department, etc.).
  • Anyone who needs the best, most reliable cell phone connectivity on the water.
Motor yacht underway The Marine weBoost Drive Reach works on boats that are underway, at anchor, or dockside.

Do-it-yourself installation

You can install the Marine weBoost Drive Reach yourself. It does not require professional help, although you can hire a marine electronics specialist to do the job for you.

Optional add-on power supplies

If you want to use your weBoost Drive Reach with an AC power source, we offer an optional 120V AC power supply.

We also offer an optional 12V DC hardwire power supply with an inline 3-amp fuse. The hardwire kit connects directly to your vessel’s DC power system, freeing up a 12V power socket and allowing for a less-cluttered installation.

To get the AC power supply, DC hardwire power supply, or both, use the dropdown option at the top of this page before clicking Add to Cart.

Boosting cell-router signal.

Connecting a cell signal booster directly to a cellular/WiFi router will provide more signal than the router is designed to handle. Because this may damage the router, we don't recommend it.

Instead, we recommend placing the router near the booster's inside broadcast antenna. For a mobile booster like the weBoost Drive Reach, that would be within a few feet (or, in cases with very weak outside signal, less than a foot) of the broadcast antenna… See full answer »

The first step is to check if the light on the front of the booster is solid green. If the light is not solid green, then please see pages 8–9 of the manufacturer’s installation guide for more information and troubleshooting suggestions.

If the light is solid green and you’re not seeing a difference in cellular reception on your phone, there are two possibilities:

Before I place an order, I will like to know if it needs to be registered. My phone service is with AT&T.

The weBoost Drive Reach will operate without being registered with your carrier.

FCC regulations require owners of cell phone signal boosters to register their devices with their carriers. This requirement was intended to make it easier for carriers to correct network problems that would occur in the unlikely event that a booster were to fail or be incorrectly configured. Registering the booster does not activate it on the carrier’s network, however; it will work out of the box… See full answer »
