Product Description

Features of the Nextivity CEL-FI GO G41 Rural Signal Booster

  • Designed for homes 8 to 10 miles or more from a cell tower and a clear line of sight to the tower.
  • The most powerful carrier-grade cell phone signal booster in its class, providing up to 100 dB gain—hundreds of times more than competing home and small office boosters.
  • Boosts voice and data for your choice of Verizon, AT&T, T‑Mobile, UScellular, or GCI Alaska 5G and 4G/LTE. question mark inside a circle
  • High-gain (12–26 dBi) grid parabolic outdoor antenna receives signal from the weakest, most distant cell towers. (Direct line of sight to the cell tower required.)
  • Your choice of 1 to 4 ceiling-mounted dome antennas or flexible-mounting panel antennasquestion mark inside a circle
  • 15 dB of echo cancellation—three times as much as the GO G41’s predecessor, the GO G32—allows the booster to continue operating even when the outside and inside antennas are close enough to cause oscillation in other cell signal boosters. question mark inside a circle
  • Configure and monitor your booster with the Nextivity WAVE app for smartphones.

The Nextivity CEL-FI GO G41 cell phone signal booster provides maximum gain for the carrier of your choice. Other home boosters amplify signals from all carriers simultaneously at a lower level of gain; the CEL-FI GO G41 amplifies one carrier at a time—Verizon, AT&T, T‑Mobile, UScellular, or GCI Alaska—and provides stronger signal gain on that carrier’s clearest frequencies.

For the best possible reception from distant or weak cell towers, this system combines the CEL-FI GO G32 with a high-gain grid parabolic antenna. This antenna has up to 25 times the gain of a standard LPDA antenna and up to 15 times the gain of our high-gain LPDA.

The CEL-FI GO G41 helps you stay connected and experience fewer dropped calls, undelivered texts, and missed email messages. Keep your data moving faster in areas with weak cell service and in buildings that block outside cell signal.

Who is the Nextivity CEL-FI GO G41 Rural Signal Booster for?

  • Homes in remote locations with weak cell service (rural areas, farms, cabins, new housing developments, etc.).
  • Homes 8 to 10 miles or more from a cell tower.
  • Homes with clear, unobstructed line of sight to a cell tower.
  • Homes that need improved coverage for only one specific cellular carrier.

How does the grid parabolic antenna work?

This system includes a high-gain grid parabolic outdoor antenna. Here are some guidelines for deciding if this is the right antenna for you.

  • This antenna works best when used 8 to 10 miles or more from a cell tower.
  • This antenna requires a direct line of sight to a cell tower. For homes and buildings with trees, terrain, or other obstacles blocking sight of the tower, we recommend you purchase the CEL-FI GO G41 Rural system with a high‑gain omni antenna (TS552411-O).
  • Because of the narrow beamwidth of the parabolic antenna, careful setup and methodical tuning (aiming) is required. You will likely need to make multiple adjustments to your antenna before you lock onto the strongest cellular signal from the tower. (Learn how to find the strongest cell tower in your area.)
  • The antenna’s front-mounted feed horn has three positions. The horn will be in the middle position when you open the box; we recommend leaving it there for best overall reception when using this antenna with a cellular booster.

If you’re not certain if this antenna is the best option for you, please call us at 435-634-6800. Our technical support representatives will be happy to discuss your specific requirements and give you a recommendation based on years of professional experience.

One to four inside antennas for maximum flexibility

Powerful Signal’s CEL-FI GO G41 system can be configured with one to four inside antennas to match your home’s configuration and meet your improved signal needs.

You’ll need access to an attic or crawlspace above the ceiling to pull cable and mount the dome antennas.

The panel antennas can be mounted on walls or ceilings. They also stand upright on flat surfaces.

Nextivity CEL-FI GO G41 Rural Signal Booster kit contents

This is a complete kit, with everything you need to start getting the best signal.

A one-antenna CEL-FI GO G32 system will cover most homes of typical size. Homes that are long and narrow, have more than two floors, or have specific problem areas can use two, three, or four inside antennas to distribute the signal coverage. Connect one length of coax cable to the outside antenna and one or more of the other lengths to the inside antenna; use the barrel connector to attach two lengths of cable together, if necessary, remembering to always use the shortest lengths of cable possible.

How it works

Nextivity’s CEL-FI GO G41 receives the outside cell signal, amplifies it, and rebroadcasts it inside your home or small office through one to four inside antennas. This allows you to stay connected in areas where cell service is poor or where building materials interfere with signals from the local cell tower.

Works with most major cellular carriers

The Nextivity CEL-FI GO G41 Rural Signal Booster system works with Verizon, AT&T, T‑Mobile, UScellular, and GCI Alaska 5G and 4G/LTE cellular bands. It does not work with other cellular networks.

The CEL-FI GO G41 Rural Signal Booster operates on two bands of cellular frequency simultaneously from a single carrier. It supports only one carrier at a time.

  • 700 MHz (SMH) bands 12, 13.
  • 850 MHz (Cellular 850) band 5.
  • 1700/2100 MHz (AWS) band 4.
  • 1900 MHz (PCS) band 2, 25.

Which inside antennas should I choose?

This complete kit includes your choice of one to four indoor dome or panel antennas. Here are some general guidelines for choosing and using the right antennas.

  • The ceiling-mounted Top Signal EDGE dome antenna works best in many situations. It broadcasts downward and all around in a shape similar to a donut or an inner tube. It usually gives more broad, even coverage than a wall-mounted panel antenna and is less noticeable than a panel antenna. Installing a dome antenna does, however, require that you have access above the ceiling to pull cable and mount the antenna.
  • The wall-mounted Top Signal EDGE panel antenna broadcasts forward in a sideways teardrop shape. It’s a better option if you don’t have access above your ceiling or if you want to mount the antenna on the outside perimeter of the area you want to cover. It’s also a good option for long, narrow indoor areas.

If you’re uncertain which antenna will work best for you, please call us at 435-634-6800. Our technical support representatives will be happy to discuss your specific requirements and give you a recommendation based on years of professional experience.

How much area will the CEL-FI GO G41 cover?

The coverage area this Rural Signal Booster can provide depends on many factors, including:

  • Outside signal strength received by the donor antenna. (The high-gain antennas in this kit will improve this.)
  • The outside antenna you use.
  • The length of coax cable between the outside antenna and the booster. (Always use the shortest cable possible for this run.)
  • The type of antennas you choose (dome or panel) and where you position them.
  • Inside building materials. (Cellular frequencies pass through wood framing and drywall more easily than through steel and concrete.)
  • The cellular frequencies used by the carrier. (Lower-frequency SMH and CLR signals travel farther than higher-frequency AWS and PCS signals.)

In general, the stronger the outside cell signal, the greater the interior broadcast distance.

Powerful Signal has has been designing and installing cellular amplification systems since 2007. Please call us at 435-634-6800 or contact us online, and we’ll be happy to calculate the coverage area this system will provide in your building and answer any other questions about this amplifier.
