Features of the Marine weBoost Drive 4G‑X 2‑in‑1 kit

  • Use in your boat and in your car with two sets of antennas; just move the booster and power supply.
  • Designed to be used while boat is underway.
  • +50 dB wideband cell signal booster with metal case.
  • Marine-grade exterior antenna with 20 feet of white RG58 coax cable.
  • 2 to 5 feet of improved signal coverage in your boat around the inside panel antenna.
  • Boosts 4G LTE and 3G service for voice, text, and data.
  • Carrier agnostic: Works with Verizon, AT&T, T‑Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and other carriers.
  • Boosts cell signal for multiple users simultaneously.

The Marine weBoost Drive 4G‑X 2‑in‑1 cell phone signal booster is a dual-use system for your boat and your car: Install the marine and panel antennas in your boat and the mini-mag and low-profile antennas in your car, then connect the amplifier/booster unit to either setup. Move the booster to your car for use on the road, then disconnect it and reconnect it in your boat for use on the water.

The Marine Drive 4G‑X 2‑in‑1 system provides superior power for cars and boats. Experience faster 4G data and fewer dropped calls, undelivered texts, and missed email messages.

Who is the Marine weBoost Drive 4G‑X 2‑in‑1 kit for?

When having a usable cell phone signal isn’t a luxury, it’s a critical necessity.

  • Boaters who need improved cell signal on the water and on the road.
  • Boats that are underway.
  • Boats that need better signal just in a specific area, such as around the helm.
  • Vessels that are used in remote waterways, where cell service is poor.
  • Government agencies (fish and wildlife services, harbor patrols, police and sheriffs departments, etc.).
  • Anyone who needs the best, most reliable cell phone connectivity on the water.

Do-it-yourself installation

You can install the Marine weBoost Drive 4G‑X 2‑in‑1 kit yourself; it does not require professional help.

Boat installation: You’ll need a standard-size 1-inch × 14 threaded marine mount (not included) for the omni marine antenna. To prevent signal oscillation, attach the marine antenna in a location where there will be at least 15 feet of separation from the inside panel antenna. Run the 20 feet of RG58 cable to the booster unit, securing the cable to the tower or hull. Mount the inside panel antenna close to your cell phone; connect it to the 240-type cable. Attach the antenna cables and 12-volt power adapter to the booster.

Please note that the booster unit is not weatherproof. If you intend to operate this system in inclement weather, you’ll need to secure the booster in a water-resistant container.

Car installation: Attach the magnet-mount antenna to the middle of your car’s roof, as close to a vertical position as possible. Run the cable inside through a door frame, under the weather stripping. Mount the inside low-profile antenna vertically, as close as possible to where you keep your phone while driving. Conceal the antenna cables by tucking them under the car’s inside panels and carpeting. Attach the cables and 12-volt power adapter to the booster.

Stow the booster in your boat and your car in places where it will be easy to access. When you’re ready to switch the booster from your boat to your car (or vice versa), simply unscrew the two antenna cable connectors and move the booster and its DC power supply.

For best performance, we recommend keeping your phone close to the inside antenna and using a Bluetooth headset to talk. You can also place a cellular hotspot next to the inside antenna, letting the hotspot fill the boat or car with cell signal.
