Alternatively, you can have a professional install your booster system at additional cost. We recommend that you contact a local cable/satellite TV installer; the work required to install a cell signal booster is similar to installing a satellite dish TV service.

Which antennas should I use?

This kit includes three inside antennas: a panel antenna that mounts on a wall, and two dome antennas that mount on a ceiling. You may use your choice of two antennas: one panel and one dome, or two domes.

The panel antenna is directional, focusing its broadcast signal outward in a cone shape, similar to the light from a flashlight. It is easier to install than a dome antenna, but provides a more limited area of coverage.
The dome antenna is omnidirectional, broadcasting downward in 360° spread. Setup requires a ladder and access above the ceiling, so it is more complex to install; however, it provides a greater area of amplified signal.

Use whichever combination of antennas best suits your needs.

How the weBoost Connect 4G‑X works

Using Wilson Electronics’ patented SmarTech III® technology, the weBoost Connect 4G‑X system receives the outside cell signal, amplifies it, and rebroadcasts it inside your office through four inside antennas. This allows you to stay connected in areas where cell service is poor, or where your office’s building materials interfere with signals from the local cell tower.

Works with all major cellular carriers

The weBoost Connect 4G‑X works with all major wireless carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, T‑Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and most others.

It operates on common 4G/3G cellular frequencies.

700 MHz (SMH) bands 12, 13, 17.
850 MHz (Cellular 850) band 5.
1700/2100 MHz (AWS) band 4.
1900 MHz (PCS) bands 2, 25.

How much area will the weBoost Connect 4G‑X cover?

This system comes with one panel antenna that will broadcast improved cellular signal in a conical pattern, and two dome antennas that each broadcast in a circular pattern. The broadcast distance/radius depends on many factors, including:

Outside cell signal strength received by the donor antenna.
Inside building materials. (Cellular frequencies pass through wood framing and drywall more easily than through steel and concrete.)
Cellular frequencies used by the carrier. (Lower-frequency LTE and 800 MHz signals travel farther than higher-frequency AWS and PCS signals.)

In general, the stronger the outside cell signal, the greater the interior broadcast distance.
