  • Certified by the FCC and preapproved by all major carriers. Unlike competing FirstNet DAS systems, the CEL-FI QUATRA 1000 FN does not require any licensing to install or operate in your building.
  • Free consultation and quote, with industry-leading installation and lifetime support from Powerful Signal, the leader in improved in-building cellular signal.

The CEL-FI GO QUATRA 1000 FN active DAS hybrid system is a single-carrier solution that provides up to 100 dB of signal gain, eliminating spotty cellular coverage, poor voice quality, dropped calls, and dead zones. The QUATRA 1000 FN improves cellular reception for AT&T’s FirstNet emergency cellular network, along with coverage for common bands of AT&T consumer cellular coverage, for offices and other buildings that have weak or no cell signal available inside.

Unlike passive DAS systems that use thick coax cables, the CEL-FI QUATRA 1000 FN is a digital system that uses Cat 6 or Cat 5e Ethernet cable that allows for long distances—325 feet or up to 6,560 feet with a fiber range extender—between the network unit (NU) and the coverage units (CUs). The QUATRA 1000 FN can be configured with up to four CUs; only the NU needs an AC power outlet.

Powerful Signal specializes in bringing strong cellular voice and data into large buildings. We can fix specific problem areas or provide cellular coverage throughout your facility or campus.

CEL-FI QUATRA 1000 FN cellular DAS system with 1 NU and 4 CUs from Powerful Signal Each CEL-FI QUATRA 1000 FN network unit can support up to 4 coverage units without signal loss, increasing your indoor coverage area.

How the Nextivity CEL-FI QUATRA 1000 FN works

  1. The QUATRA 1000 FN receives outside cellular signal from a rooftop-mounted antenna or an existing small cell interface.
  2. The received signal is sent to a Network Unit (NU) that amplifies the signal gain and sends the signal and power downline via a run of Cat 6 or Cat 5e Ethernet cable.
  3. The run of Ethernet cable terminates at one to four Coverage Units (CUs) that amplify the signal again and broadcast it.

A Network Unit can transmit amplified cell signal and power over Ethernet (PoE) up to 325 feet (100 meters) to the Coverage Unit(s). That distance can be extended to up to 6,560 feet (2,000 meters) with an optional QUATRA Fiber Range Extender (fQRE). This feature makes the CEL-FI QUATRA 1000 FN an excellent solution for large, long, and tall buildings.

The QUATRA 1000 FN is highly scalable: One NU can support up to four CUs. Powerful Signal can easily install additional NUs and CUs in your building as your business or public agency grows.

Works with the AT&T FirstNet network

The CEL-FI QUATRA 1000 FN cellular DAS system works only on AT&T’s FirstNetexternal link icon and consumer cellular networks. It amplifies four bands of frequency:

  • AT&T consumer band 12 (lower 700 MHz).
  • AT&T FirstNet band 14 (upper 700 MHz).
  • AT&T consumer band 66 (1700/2100 MHz).
  • AT&T consumer band 2 (1900 MHz).

It does not boost signal for other cellular networks or frequencies.
