    Features of the weBoost Office 200 Outside Coverage signal booster

    • Specially designed by Powerful Signal to provide a limited area of outdoor cellular coverage for EV charging stations, parking meters, electronic toll collection (ETC), wireless cameras/gates, and other unattended devices with cellular modems.
    • The LPDA donor antenna is pointed at the weak or distant cell tower. This antenna provides stronger signal to the booster that amplifies the signal. 
    • A second LPDA broadcast antenna is pointed toward the charge stations, parking meters, or other cellular devices. This antenna provides an area of amplified signal for the cellular modems in these devices.
    • Three runs of coax cable (50′, 30′ & 20′) and a barrel connector allow you to customize the lengths of cable to the donor and broadcast antennas.
    • The weBoost Office 200 booster has ample uplink power (24–25 dBm) for a stronger connection to the cell tower and better performance in areas with weak outdoor cellular signal. It boosts 5G and 4G/LTE service for voice, text, and data for all major U.S. cellular carriers. 
    • The weBoost Office 200 is a wall-mounted amplifier with antenna ports on the top and a compact size (9″ ᴡ × 10″ ʜ × 2″ ᴅ). Its color LCD touchscreen displays the status and gain of each cellular band and allows you adjust the amplifier’s settings.
    • The weBoost Office 200 booster is designed and assembled in St. George, Utah, and has a three-year manufacturer’s warranty.

    This kit, available only from Powerful Signal, includes two directional antennas, two 18″ antenna mounts for the antennas, three runs of 400-type coax cable, and a barrel connector for creating different .

    Who is the weBoost Office 200 Outside Coverage system for?

    This system is specifically designed to provide cellular signal for unattended devices that use cellular networks to connect to the internet. Some examples of these devices include:

    • Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations
    • Automated parking and toll collection
    • Wireless cameras, alarms, and monitoring equipment
    • Remote-controlled gates

    Successful setup of an Outside Coverage system requires 30 feet or more of vertical separation between the donor and broadcast antennas. A metal or concrete barrier between the two antennas can also provide sufficient antenna isolation.     How the weBoost Office 200 booster works

    The weBoost Office 200 booster receives available outside cell signal, amplifies it, and rebroadcasts it in a specific area. This allows your devices to stay connected in areas where cell service is poor because excessive distance to the cell tower.

    The weBoost Office 200 Outside Coverage system works with all major wireless carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, DISH Wireless, UScellular, GCI Alaska, and most others.

    It operates on common cellular frequencies. 

    • 700 MHz (SMH) bands 12, 13, 17.
    • 850 MHz (Cellular 850) band 5.
    • 1700/2100 MHz (AWS) band 4.
    • 1900 MHz (PCS) bands 2, 25.

    How much area will the weBoost Office 200 Outside Coverage system provide?

    This system is designed to provide spot coverage of a specific, limited area with cellular-enabled kiosks or stations. Because the broadcast area is outdoors, it will not be able to take advantage of signal propagation—reflection, refraction, diffraction, etc.—that allow the booster to provide an anticipated, measurable coverage area.

    Among other variables, booster coverage area is affected by:

    • Outside signal strength received by the outside donor antenna.
    • Where you mount the broadcast antenna and the distance from the antenna to the area of desired coverage.
    • The cellular frequencies used by the carrier. (Lower-frequency SMH and CLR signals travel farther than higher-frequency AWS and PCS signals.)

    In general, the stronger the outside cell signal, the greater the interior broadcast distance.
