    Wilson Electronics, owner of the weBoost brand, designed the Home MultiRoom to be easy to install. You can mount the outside and inside antennas without any tools, if you choose, with hand-tightened nuts and Command™ Strips. The inside antenna also has a built-in kickstand, allowing you to place it on a table, bookcase, or any other level surface.

    This bonus kit also includes a ceiling-mounted dome antenna that you can use instead of the panel antenna for more even coverage in large spaces. Choose the panel or the dome, whichever antenna best meets your needs!

    Do-it-yourself installation

    Alternatively, you can have a professional install your booster system at additional cost. We recommend that you contact a local cable/satellite TV installer; the work required to install a cell signal booster is similar to installing a satellite dish TV service.

    How the weBoost Home MultiRoom works

    Using Wilson Electronics’s patented technology, the weBoost Home MultiRoom system receives the outside cell signal, amplifies it, and rebroadcasts it inside your home through an inside antenna. This allows you to stay connected in areas where cell service is poor or where building materials block signals from the local cell tower.

    Works with all major cellular carriers

    The weBoost Home MultiRoom works with all major wireless carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, DISH Wireless, UScellular, GCI Alaska, and most others.

    It operates on common cellular frequencies.

    • 700 MHz (SMH) bands 12, 13, 17.
    • 850 MHz (Cellular 850) band 5.
    • 1700/2100 MHz (AWS) band 4.
    • 1900 MHz (PCS) bands 2, 25.

    How much area will the weBoost Home MultiRoom cover?

    This system comes with one panel antenna that will broadcast improved cellular signal in a horizontal cone shape and one dome antenna that will broadcast a sphere of signal. You can choose which antenna will work best in your home. The broadcast distance/radius depends on many factors, including:

    • Outside cell signal strength received by the donor antenna.
    • Inside building materials. (Cellular frequencies pass through wood framing and drywall more easily than through steel and concrete.)
    • Cellular frequencies used by the carrier. (Lower-frequency LTE and 800 MHz signals travel farther and penetrate walls better than higher-frequency AWS and PCS signals.)

    In general, the stronger the outside cell signal, the greater the interior broadcast distance.

    With strong outside cell signal (−95 dBm RSRP), your booster can cover up to 5,000 square feet of indoor space. with weak outside signal (−115 dBm RSRP), the area of coverage will be closer to 1,000 square feet.
