T-Mobile 600MHz Extended Range LTE Rolling Out Fast

T-Mobile has been busy rolling out 600MHz LTE around the US and also soon in Puerto Rico. Band 71, 600MHz, has been rolled out in over 900 cities throughout the United States. Lower frequencies such  as 600Mhz and 700MHz have excellent distance and penetration capabilities in buildings, improving T-Mobile's cellular coverage and reception abilities.

T-Mobile currently offers 600MHz Extended Range LTE smartphones with more than a dozen planned to be launched this year. The Un-carrier is quickly making its mark in the Band 71 arena.

What does this mean for cell phone signal boosters? Currently wide-band cell signal boosters only support 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 1900 MHz, and AWS on 1700 MHz and 2100 MHz. It is going to be interesting to see what the booster manufacturers do in the near future to accommodate 600 MHz band 71.
