The Nighthawk M6 converts 5G and 4G cellular signal to WiFi signal, creating a wireless network in your RV, motorhome, or trailer that can be used by computers, smartphones, tablets, and other WiFi-enabled devices. Its unlocked SIM card slot supports your choice of cellular data plan. (SIM card required.)
The Poynting MIMO-3-12 cellular 2×2 MIMO antenna sends signal to and from cell towers with up to 5.8 dBi of gain and superior signal strength and quality. The MIMO-3-12 has two 6.6′ HDF195 coax cables in a single pair and two mounting options. (Learn more.)
The Nighthawk M6 supports 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz WiFi 6 technology, offering faster data transfer and connectivity, support for up to 32 connected devices, and up to 2,000 square feet of coverage area.*
The Nighthawk’s compact form factor—4.14″ × 4.14″ × 0.85″ (10.5 × 10.5 × 2.15 cm)—allows you take it with you to your home, business, hotel, car, boat, hiking/camping, meetings/events, etc.
You can run your hotspot on AC or battery power. Its removable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 9 hours of continuous usage.
The Nighthawk’s simple, intuitive 2.4″ (6.1 cm) LCD touchscreen lets you easily see the WiFi name, password, and cellular signal strength, and easily monitor data usage and manage device and network settings.
A 1 Gbps Ethernet port connects to computers, smart TVs, and other wired devices. (Ethernet cable not included.)
A USB type C connector powers the hotspot, recharges its battery, and can provide data to other devices via USB-C tethering.
The Nighthawk M6 features WiFi offloading and Ethernet offloading, both with automatic failover. Use an external wireless or wired data source and the hotspot will automatically switch to cellular data if either becomes unavailable.
The Nighthawk M6 includes GPS location services to support GPS-enabled apps on connected devices.

SIM card required (important—please read)

To use the NETGEAR Nighthawk M6 as a cellular router, you must have an activated nano-SIM card with a data plan. You can obtain a SIM card from your cellular carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.) and add it to your existing data plan as an additional line. You can also purchase SIM cards from many retailers, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Best Buy; the data plan will either have a recurring monthly payment or will be a prepaid “pay-as-you-go” plan.

A nano-SIM card is about the size of a fingernail.

Who is the RV NETGEAR Nighthawk M6 with Poynting MIMO-3-12 antenna for?

Vehicles that operate in areas where cell service is fair or moderate.
Class A motorhomes (30–45 feet long).
Class C motorhomes (20–30 feet long).
Class B vans, including the Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, Dodge Promaster, and others.
Fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers, and other towables.
Government agencies with RVs that serve as mobile command posts (police, disaster recovery, etc.).
Users of T-Mobile band 71, AT&T band 30, CBRS band 48, or C-Band band 77 as their internet service. (These bands aren’t amplified by cellular boosters.)

Receives 4G/LTE and 5G cellular signal from 617 to 3800 MHz.
Two 6.6′ (2 m) SMA-male HDF195 coax cables connect to cellular ports on the NETGEAR Nighthawk M6 with SMA-to-TS9 adapters (included). The cables are enclosed in a braided protection sleeve.

The NETGEAR Mobile app for smartphones and tablets allows you to monitor and configure your Nighthawk M6 , view your cellular connection, track data usage, monitor your mobile hotspot connection and battery life, view connected devices, and turn off or reboot your hotspot.

Using the NETGEAR Mobile app to check your Nighthawk M6’s state and make changes is often faster and more convenient than using the hotspot’s touchscreen controls.
