    Product Description

    This system is an add-on to the SureCall SignalMax Fiber DAS system. It requires a SignalMax Master Unit (MU) and does not work independently.

    Features of the SureCall SignalMax Fiber DAS Add-on Kit

    • This kit features an add-on Remote Unit (RU) that expands the coverage area of a SureCall SignalMax Fiber DAS system.
    • The SureCall SignalMax is a hybrid DAS system that delivers all-carrier 5G/LTE coverage for stronger, faster cellular reception in large offices, warehouses, campuses, and other commercial spaces up to 500,000 square feet.A SignalMax Fiber DAS system fills coverage gaps inside buildings, delivering ultra-fast data speeds without the need for a fiber backhaul.
    • The Master Unit (MU, sold separately) receives signal from a roof-mounted cellular antenna and amplifies that signal before sending it to up to four Remote Units. This Remote Unit amplifies the signal again before distributing it inside the building with four or more ceiling-mounted dome antennas.
    • The SignalMax employs fiber optic cable to send cellular voice and data signals from the Master Unit to the Remote Units over long distances—up to 1.25 miles (2 km)—with low latency and virtually no signal loss. (This system includes 250′/75 m of fiber optic cable; contact us if you need a different run length.)
    • This add-on Remote Unit can cover up to 100,000 square feet of indoor space,* providing scalability well beyond the capacity of passive signal booster systems.
    • The SignalMax’s IP66-ratedexternal link icon case protects the amplifier equipment against dust and water intrusion.

    * Maximum indoor coverage is possible with strong outside cell signal. Weaker outside signal will result in less indoor coverage.

    Optional plenum air coax cable upgrade

    The SureCall SignalMax Fiber DAS system includes 400-type coax cable to connect the Remote Unit to the inside antennas. If your building requires fire-rated cable in plenum spacesexternal link icon, please ask us about upgrading to ½-inch plenum air coax. Plenum cable fully meets state and federal building codes.

    Plenum cable also has nearly half the signal loss per foot of cable compared to 400-type coax cable, delivering stronger signal from the SureCall amplifier to your phones and other cellular devices.
