Will I drop my call when I enter a building with a cell signal booster?
If you walk into a building with a cell phone signal booster system that is carrier agnostic—designed to work with all carriers and carrier frequencies—you shouldn’t drop your call. The cell tower will seamlessly hand the call off to the signal booster’s strongest inside antenna.
If the signal booster in the building only covers a specific carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.), and your phone is activated on a different carrier, then you will likely drop the call, unless your carrier’s outside signal is strong enough to penetrate the building.
