Chad Steglich | Chief Executive Officer
Chad is an owner and the CEO of Powerful Signal LLC. He has over 30 years’ experience as a creative director and marketing strategist. Working with Powerful Signal’s owners and management team, Chad helped drive business growth and innovation in the telecommunications and cell signal amplification industry. His efforts have successfully positioned Powerful Signal as a market leader, consistently achieving exceptional results and collaborating with small and large businesses to meet their communication needs.
Chad has established and nurtured key partnerships with industry-leading telecommunications providers, resulting in mutually beneficial collaborations. Working with the exceptional management team and employees at Powerful Signal, he has helped pioneer the development of cutting-edge cellular signal boosting solutions that have transformed the way organizations address connectivity challenges. Under his leadership, Powerful Signal has instituted a customer-centric culture, resulting in a 96.5% customer satisfaction rating
and high levels of repeat business.
Chad holds degrees from Utah Tech University and the University of Utah. He loves spending time with his wife Shelly and their many children and grandchildren.
Shelly Steglich | Finance Manager
Shelly Steglich is an owner and the finance manager at Powerful Signal. With a background in education and 12 years of experience as an elementary school teacher, Shelly is skilled at staying organized and paying attention to details. She enjoys helping others succeed and brings this mindset to her work at Powerful Signal.
In addition to her role at Powerful Signal, Shelly also manages Powerful Beauty Products, a business she founded to share goodness and help others feel their best.
Shelly holds a bachelors degree in education from Utah Tech University.
Outside of work, Shelly is the proud mother of 5 and grandmother of 9, and she deeply values the time she spends with her family. Her experiences as a teacher, business owner, and family member inspire her commitment to excellence in everything she does.
Terry Hamm | Director of Commercial Sales
Terry has been involved in IT-related products and services for over 30 years, with much of his time spent establishing and growing sales channels for startups in Silicon Valley. He’s spent most of the last
years in the cellular amplifier and distributed antenna systems (DAS) space, which included being part of the management team that launched the rebranded cellular amplifier manufacturer, SureCall. Since 2017 he has headed the commercial sales division at Powerful Signal, where he focuses on the middleprise DAS market.
Marcus Farnsworth | Commercial Project Manager & Engineer
Marcus is a seasoned commercial project manager and engineer, where he applies his extensive expertise in project coordination, budgeting, and computer networking to deliver high-quality solutions.
Prior to coming to Powerful Signal, he served as the director of programming at Utah Tech University, where he supervised the development and execution of media and production initiatives. He also used his proficiency in industry-standard tools as a video producer, engineer, and editor for Final Design Group. His leadership and management skills, combined with his deep understanding of production workflows, make him a vital asset in both strategic execution and workflow management for Powerful Signal’s commercial projects.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Marcus values family time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His passion for fostering meaningful relationships extends to his work, where he is known for his collaborative approach and commitment to excellence.
Mike Parker | Content Manager
As Powerful Signal’s content manager, Mike is responsible for product management, pricing, reports, and content on Powerful Signal’s website. Mike has worked in the cellular booster industry since 2013, with 2 years’ experience working for Wilson Electronics (manufacturer of the weBoost and WilsonPro brands) before joining Powerful Signal. Prior to that, he spent over 20 years in the financial services industry as a sales, CRM, and GIS analyst and corporate trainer.
He holds a bachelors degree in business administration with an emphasis in management information systems from Utah Tech University.
Mike’s interests include computers and computer networking, shooting sports, and religious history and texts. Mike and his wife Denise have 3 children and 1 grandchild.
Brandon Tippetts | Support Technician
Brandon got his start in the cellular industry selling phones, antennas, and adapters for Radio Shack. He has been in the cellular amplifier industry for
years, first working as lead tech support for Wilson Electronics (now known by the consumer brand weBoost) before joining Powerful Signal in 2008.
He holds an associate of arts degree with a mass communication emphasis from Dixie State College (now Utah Tech University).
When not tinkering with cellphones and boosters, Brandon likes to write, make short films, and spend time with family traveling around the country and going to the movies.
Holland Bunn | Office Manager
Holland is most often going to be the friendly voice you’ll hear when you call Powerful Signal. She assists with sales, technical support, commercial projects, and finance and accounting. Holland has
years of customer service experience and holds a bachelors degree in family studies and communications from Utah Tech University.
When not at school or work, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing pickleball, and doing jigsaw puzzles.
David Medina | Warehouse Coordinator
David is responsible for our shipping and fulfillment services. He enjoys the warehouse environment; after years of customer service experience, he brought his knowledge and experience to the Powerful Signal team.
Originally from Colorado, David now enjoys living in southern Utah. He enjoys working on computers and reading books and comics. His current favorites include The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown and The Walking Dead series.
Cierra Johnson | Social Media Manager
Cierra oversees all of Powerful Signal’s social media sites, including
Facebook,
Instagram,
Twitter,
YouTube,
and LinkedIn.
She has also been a hairstylist for the last
years while managing a home and family.
She graduated from Utah Tech University with a bachelors degree in English and communications.
As a native of southern Utah, Cierra is happy to live close to family with her husband Dustin and their 5 children.
Kevin Taylor | Founder/Consultant
Kevin has been an entrepreneur and business owner since 1990. His first company, Genisys Operation, developed banking software for mainframe computers and PCs that was used by banks in the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia. Kevin founded Genisys Operation in Dallas, Texas, where he ran it for 10 years until it was purchased by a publicly traded company.
Kevin and his family relocated to southern Utah, where, in 2007, he founded Powerful Signal. Under his leadership, Powerful Signal evolved from an e‑commerce website into one of the leading providers of cell signal solutions, featuring direct sales, design and installation of commercial projects for large corporations and government agencies, and distribution of products and solutions to dealers and system integrators.
In 2024, Kevin transferred his ownership of Powerful Signal. He now serves as a strategic consultant to the company.
Kevin is a talented photographer and, when not at work, he enjoys traveling and photographing landscapes. He is married to DeeAnn and they have 4 children.
