Product Description
Connects to a 4×4 cellular–WiFi router, hotspot, or modem. Does not connect to a cell signal booster.
Features of the Poynting PANL-401 4×4 MIMO antenna
- 10.5″ × 8.3″ × 1.2″ (26.7 × 21.0 × 3.1 cm) omnidirectional window-mount donor antenna.
- Designed for RV/trailer, bus, train, ship, and fixed wireless access applications. Mounts to the inside of an exterior window of a vehicle, vessel, or building.
- Four cross-polarized cellular antennas cover 5G and 4G/LTE frequency bands from 617 to 6000 MHz.
- Five 6.6″ (2 m) RTK031 coax cables connect to cellular (×4 SMA-male), and GPS (×1 SMA-male) ports on a 4×4 cellular–WiFi router, modem, or hotspot.
- Covers a wide range of 5G and 4G/LTE cellular frequencies with exceptional gain:
- 410–470 MHz: 0.5 dBi (max).
- 617–960 MHz: 4 dBi (max).
- 1710–2700 MHz: 5 dBi (max).
- 3400–4200 MHz: 7.8 dBi (max).
- 5000–6000 MHz: 7 dBi (max).
- The UV-stable marine ASA radome is IP 65-rated
for protection against water immersion, dust, and vandalism; ASTM B117
-tested for resistance to corrosion due to salt spray; and IK 08-rated
impact-resistant.
- The included hook-and-loop and suction cup mounts securely attach the antenna to the inside of an exterior window. (Learn more.)
- 50-ohm impedance.
- 2-year warranty.
What’s a MIMO antenna?
A MIMO (multiple input, multiple output) antenna sends and receives signal through two or more simultaneous data streams, providing better signal strength and quality than SISO (single input, single output) antennas.
This 4×4 MIMO antenna may be the right solution for you if:
- You need to improve signal reception for a router, hotspot, or modem that converts cellular signal to WiFi.
- You use a cellular router for internet service in an RV, trailer, bus, train, ship, home, or small office.
- Your router has four SMA cellular ports.
- Outdoor signal is fair or moderate.
- You need faster download speeds for streaming videos and downloading files
- You need improved signal for cellular frequencies that aren’t amplified by cell signal boosters (like band 71 and 5G bands between 2300 and 6000 MHz).
For needs other than these, a cell signal booster may be a better option. If you have any questions about which option is right for you, please feel free to contact Powerful Signal—we’ll be happy to help you!
Installation
The Poynting PANL-401 MIMO antenna includes a “hook-and-loop” VELCRO®-style adhesive mount and four suction cups for mounting to the inside of an exterior window. The RTK301 coax cables exit from the bottom-center of the antenna.
