Product Description

This system has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Please see our line of WilsonPro Enterprise 1300 Series commercial cellular boosters.

Features of the WilsonPro 1000

  • Provides coverage for office buildings, hospitals, campuses, warehouses, and other large facilities.
  • Wall-mounted, with antenna ports on the top; fits in any convenient, out-of-the-way room.
  • Color LCD setup screen and power meter.
  • Boosts 4G LTE and 3G service for voice, text, and data.
  • Carrier agnostic: Works with all major U.S. cellular carriers and networks.

The WilsonPro 1000 is a wall-mounted, single-amplifier system designed for office buildings, warehouses, hospitals, hotels, campuses, and other large facilities. The WilsonPro 1000 can cover 25,000 to 35,000 square feet, with support for 4 or more inside broadcast antennas (depending on outside signal strength).

The WilsonPro 1000 automatically controls the amplifier with its on-board software, and adjusts the gain level for each port independently, up or down, as needed. It can reduce its gain to prevent oscillation, and with Wilson’s XDR (eXtended Dynamic Range) technology, the Pro 1000 will never overpower or shut down.

The color LCD screen and D-pad navigation controller allow installers and administrators to monitor and adjust the gain of the various cellular frequencies the Pro 1000 supports.

Who is the WilsonPro 1000 for?

  • Office buildings, medical/business/education/government campuses, warehouses/distribution centers, and other multi-floor and/or large buildings.
  • Those who have heavy cellular user and data loads.
  • Those who frequently experience dropped calls, undelivered texts, or slow 4G data.
  • Buildings in urban locations with building materials that block outside cell signal (steel, low-e glass, concrete, plaster, etc.).
  • Buildings with floor space below ground level, and other places where cell reception is poor.

Optional plenum air coax cable upgrade

The WilsonPro 1000 system includes 400-type coax cable to connect the amplifier to the inside antenna. If your building requires fire-rated cable in plenum spaces, please ask us about upgrading to ½-inch plenum air coax. Plenum cable fully meets state and federal building codes.

Plenum cable also has nearly half the signal loss per foot of cable compared to 400-type coax cable, delivering stronger signal from the WilsonPro amplifier to your phones and other cellular devices.

(Plenum air cable is available at additional cost. Call Powerful Signal at 866-912-3444 for details.)

Purchasing a WilsonPro 1000 system

Properly installing and configuring the WilsonPro 1000 is complex task, so we strongly advise a custom solution (see above). If you prefer to purchase this system as a standalone product, without design and installation, the kit comes with the following components:

How the WilsonPro 1000 works

Using Wilson Electronics’ patented SmarTech III® technology, the WilsonPro 1000 receives the outside cell signal, amplifies it, and rebroadcasts it inside your office. This allows you to stay connected in areas where cell service is poor or where your office’s building materials interfere with signals from the local cell tower.

Works with all major cellular carriers

The WilsonPro 1000 works with all major wireless carriers, including Verizon, AT&T, T‑Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and most others.

It operates on common 4G/3G cellular frequencies.

  • 700 MHz (SMH) bands 12, 13, 17.
  • 850 MHz (Cellular 850) band 5.
  • 1700/2100 MHz (AWS) band 4.
  • 1900 MHz (PCS) bands 2, 25.

How much area will the WilsonPro 1000 cover?

This system comes with one dome antenna that broadcasts improved cellular signal in a spherical pattern. The radius of that circle depends on many factors, including:

  • Outside cell signal strength received by the donor antenna.
  • Inside building materials. (Cellular frequencies pass through wood framing and drywall more easily than through steel and concrete.)
  • Cellular frequencies used by the carrier. (Lower-frequency LTE and 800 MHz signals travel farther than higher-frequency AWS and PCS signals.)

In general, the stronger the outside cell signal, the greater the interior broadcast distance.

Powerful Signal has over a decade of experience designing and installing cellular amplification systems. Please call us at 866‐912‐3444 or contact us online, and we’ll be happy to calculate the coverage area this system will provide in your building and answer any other questions about this amplifier.

Some online retailers claim that a one-antenna WilsonPro commercial system will provide 50,000 square feet of coverage. That figure is unrealistic under typical conditions, and Powerful Signal warns consumers against purchasing WilsonPro systems from retailers who make such exaggerated claims.
