Wilson 801245 AG SOHO 60 Plus Kit

The Wilson 801245 AG SOHO 60 is a adjustable gain 60dB dual-band (800/1900) system has been designed to amplify and improve a cell signal in a small room of a home or office.  Excellent for main living area, home office or get-a-way cabin.  Low loss 400 coax is included.  Interior and exterior antennas should be separated 40+ feet to avoid oscillation and noise between antennas.

 

The Wilson 801245 AG SOHO 60 system is compatible with all 800MHz and 1900MHz GSM and CDMA carriers.  Both the 800MHz and 1900MHz frequencies can be adjusted for easier set up and installation. This system improves both voice and data cellular communications in your home or office.  Broadcast distance from the interior antenna varies depending upon outside signal strength and carrier frequency.  Contact Powerful Signal for additional information on how this system will work in your environment.

 

Note:  Minimum usable outside signal (1-2 bars) is needed for best results.  The objective is to create usable cell signal inside your building so calls can be made.

 

Wilson 801245 AG SOHO 60 The new Wilson 801245 AG SOHO 60 is provided with this small home kit.  This new amplifier has adjustable gain control for both the 800MHz and 1900MHz frequencies.  This allow for easier and more accurate installation.   The power of the new Wilson 801245 AG SOHO has also been increased.  It is now 60dB.  Older versions of the Wilson SOHO were 50dB.  This new power allows for more broadcast and thus will provide a larger coverage area in your home or office.  There is 55dB of typical gain and 60dB of maximum gain for this SOHO amplifier.

Exterior Antennas A choice of two different exterior antennas are offered: 5dB gain Omni fiberglass 9dB gain directional The Omni antenna collects signal from 360 degrees, all directions.  This antenna is generally recommended and works well in most situations.    The directional must be pointed in the direction of the cell tower.  This antenna works best when there is a good line-of-site to the cell tower or the terrain is mainly flat or low rolling hills.  Not recommended in low spots or dense forested areas.    Both are dual band, include mounting hardware and require installation. Interior Antennas A choice of two different interior antennas is also offered. Coax This system provides two lengths of 400 low loss coax.  One length from the exterior antenna to the amplifier.  The other length from the amplifier to the interior antenna. Select the lengths that best fit your environment.  Each foot of coax is signal loss, so don't just select the longest length.  Figure what you need and select the length that best fits.
