Wilson 801201 Powerful Signal Wireless Desktop/Vehicle Kit

This portable kit uses one of the best mobile cell phone booster amplifiers available: Up to 3 Watts of power to communicate with cell towers. This is a complete kit that includes the Wilson 801201 dual-band 40/45dB amplifier, antennas, power supplies and soft carry case. Boosts cell signal and can be used with multiple cell phones and data cards simultaneously. Requires no physical connection to cell phone or data card.

Product Description

The Powerful Signal Wireless Desktop Vehicle Kit is specifically designed to be portable and easy to set up in vehicles, boats, RV's and hotel rooms. The Wilson 801201 dual-band cell phone booster enhances your cell signal for about a 2-3 foot radius (4-6 foot circle) depending upon the strength of the outside signal. Coax is supplied with the antennas in the kit to extend about 12-15 foot distance between the broadcast antenna and the outside receiving antenna.

The kit is compatible with all 800MHz and 1900MHz carriers that use GSM, CDMA and TDMA technology. Does not work with Nextel/iDEN phones. Both voice and data signals are improved with this system.

For Vehicle Use

The 12" magnet mount antenna is placed on the roof of the vehicle and connected to the amplifier with 10' of RG174 coax. The amplifier can be left in the case and the case placed under the front passenger seat. A vehicle power supply is connected to the amplifier and plugged into the vehicle receptical. The Wilson Low Profile 301127 antenna connects to the amplifier and is attached via Velcro to the headrest or side of the front seat. The Low-Profile antenna is the interior broadcast antenna, which needs to be near individuals using a cell phone or data terminals/computers using aircards.

For Desktop Use

The 12" antenna comes with 10' of RG174 coax attached to it. This antenna can be mounted on the inside of a nearby window using the supplied suction cup window mount. The 12" antenna sits on the L-bracket in the window and connects directly to the amplifier.

The desktop antenna connects directly to the amplifier and can be placed on a desk or table. It comes with 5' of RG174 connected to the antenna.

The combination of coax on the two antennas equals about 15'. Extension coax can be used, but it is recommended that only small lengths (5' or 10') be used due to signal loss in the coax.

Coverage Area

The Powerful Signal Wireless Desktop/Vehicle Kit is designed specifically to amplify cell signals in your vehicle or on your desktop without any physical connection to your cell phone or aircard. It is not designed to supply amplified cell signal to your entire room or office. Other larger systems offered by Powerful Signal are designed for rooms and entire buildings. Broadcast distance for this desktop/vehicle kit is about 2-3 foot radius; and this will vary depending upon the outside signal strength.
